Work, Business, and Money are truly vast and intricate subjects. Since, in my own profile, codes related to these topics are placed in key positions, such as the Sun (Life Path, Code 45), I plan to create a series of posts dedicated to this subject under a separate category.
Work and professional activity are a crucial part of our life experience. Not only do they have a major impact on our material and financial well-being, but they also significantly influence whether we feel fulfilled and happy or not.
Work and professional activity provide us with opportunities for broad and sometimes deep interactions with other people. We spend a large part of our lives on professional activities, so it’s important that this area is deeply understood and explored. It’s not just about goals, projects, results, promotions, salaries, or profits; we should also understand it from the perspective of our life’s purpose and mission. This is a part of our self-discovery and personal development. It’s about knowing what mechanisms “drive this area,” what programs we’re running, whether we feel fulfilled or not, whether we’re working just to fulfill our own goals and dreams or contributing to the well-being of others. Each of us (and of course, we’re talking about adulthood, pre-retirement age here…) has dreams, ambitions, and challenges in the realm of Work and Business. Similarly to relationships, in the world of work, the main driving force behind our actions is our Profile (Human Design) and the Shadows and Gifts of our key Gene Keys. It’s important to remember that our work, just like relationships, is an area where we must “do our life lessons,” recognize and integrate our Shadows, so we can discover our Gifts and experience their impact.
It is our Gifts, flowing from the Heart, not “from the head” or from the level of the bank account or “material embellishments,” that are the foundation for experiencing abundance and achieving true professional and financial satisfaction. Working “based on” our Gifts stops being an obligation; it becomes a calling and the fulfillment of our life’s mission.
A calling is an action driven by a sense of mission and deep significance. The fruits of such work taste completely different from “forced tasks.” They bring great satisfaction and professional fulfillment. Often, they also bring the expected financial fulfillment.
Work based on our Gifts has a broader dimension. It also contributes to the transformation of our “material world,” work, businesses, etc. It is a shift away from “the battlefield,” competition, disregard for the environment and resources toward building a world based on cooperation and sustainable development.
The Pearl Sequence according to Gene Keys is a path of self-discovery that focuses on our material and financial world. It’s the next stage after the Activation Sequence (our Life Path and Purpose) and the Venus Sequence (our relationships).
The Pearl Sequence consists of four key elements: Vocation, Culture, Brand, and Pearl. The Pearl represents the quintessence of our place in the material world. Each of these elements is defined by a specific Gene Key in our Profile. More on the placement of the Codes in the next post.
Vocation: Refers to our life’s calling and mission. This area helps us understand what task we have to fulfill in the world and how to best use our talents and skills. It’s fascinating that our true professional calling results from “what we want to learn in our life,” which Shadow we want to see and integrate, which Sacred Wound we aim to heal, and what Gift we want to share with the world. Depending on our Code in this area, it could be individual work on something, marketing, organization and logistics, sales, management and organizing, or even financing.
Organizational Culture: Refers to the type of work environment that suits us best. This area helps identify the environment in which we can develop professionally and in which cultural context we feel most comfortable. Depending on our Code in this area, it could be a solo position, a partnership, a team, an organization, participating in a system, a global venture, or even going beyond these, being “above” the current structures.
Personal Brand: Refers to our personal brand and how we “present” ourselves to the world. This area helps us define our professional identity and express our values and goals in a consistent and authentic way. It helps us discover our true qualities, how we are perceived in the world, and what kind of attitude is natural for us. We learn how to uncover and cultivate these traits.
Pearl: The Pearl is the essence of our place in the material world, combining our Vocation, Work Environment, and Personal Brand. This area represents our unique contribution to the material world and the way we create value for ourselves and others. Here, we can also learn about our relationship with money. Depending on the Code, it could involve simplicity and minimalism, recognition from others, the need for individual consumption and celebration, or charity and philanthropy.
Through the Pearl Sequence, we can better understand our role in the material world. This knowledge helps us develop our professional and financial potential, in alignment with our destiny and the values we represent—whether conscious, unconscious, or aligned with our true Self.
Only professional successes based on our true Self can give us satisfaction and fulfillment. We know that fulfillment in no way stems from material and financial successes. We know many incredibly popular artists, creators, actors, and businessmen who achieved great professional (and financial) success but were deeply unhappy and unfulfilled deep inside. Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, George Michael, Robin Williams, Kurt Cobain—the list could go on…
Abundance is not about having money in the bank, popularity, awards, or material wealth.
Abundance is a state of well-being that includes health, relationships, life satisfaction, professional fulfillment, realizing dreams, and a sense of fulfilling a life mission (purpose).
